At Rix Petroleum, we are proud to support local teams, charities and organisations.
Over the years our staff have raised thousands of pounds by running and taking part in fundraising events all over the UK.
A long standing partnership that Rix have been supporting are Young Farmer clubs (YFC). This is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK dedicated to young people who have a love for agriculture and rural life.
The clubs are led by young people, for young people. Young Farmers' Clubs provide their 25,000 members aged 10 to 26 with a unique opportunity to develop skills, work with their local communities, travel abroad, take part in a varied competitions programme and enjoy a dynamic social life.
During the last couple of years, we have been supporting a number of YFC groups including Bridlington Young Farmers, Skirlaugh Young Farmers and Kenilworth Young Farmers club which are based in the area’s we cover.
It’s great to see this long standing community of clubs get more recognition with #nationalyoungfarmersweek and to watch all the celebrations unfold.
