The new Rix My Account is now live

We are thrilled to announce that our new 'My Account' feature is now available, with an updated look and brand new features, experience My Account for yourself.

The new Rix My Account is now live

We are thrilled to announce that our new 'My Account' feature is now available. This feature provides a dedicated area to manage your balance, view your orders, and place new orders using our quote tool. To access the new My Account, click the red icon at the top right of the navigation bar.

However, to fully utilise the new My Account tool, it is important to be aware of a few key changes.

So, what has changed?

To begin with, please note that your existing login credentials will no longer work for the new My Account. To log in, you will need to create a new account, which can be done from the login page. Please ensure that you use the same email address, postcode, and phone number you used for your original sign-up. If you are unsure about your original email address, please contact your local, which you can find here.

Once you’re logged in, all your account details will be populated in the settings tab.

Why use My Account?

The new tool has been designed with ease of use in mind. At Rix, we want you to have a seamless experience with us. The most exciting feature of the new My Account is our integrated quote tool, giving you the best heating oil prices in seconds, without filling out all your contact details! All you need to do is select what fuel you want, and how much, it’s as easy as that.  

Aside from the new look, My Account is simple and easy to navigate. We’ve broken down each area here to give you a head start:

Dashboard

View your balance, and credit limit with ease. As we continue to develop My Account, more features will be added.

Orders

Here you’ll find information on your previous orders, including what you have ordered, how much, and the cost of each order.

Transactions

Want to see each transaction, in and out of your account? Here’s where you’ll find that data, including order date, top-ups, direct debits, and other transactions.

Settings

Here you’ll find personal information such as address, contact details and your account number.

What’s next for My Account?

The My Account journey doesn’t stop here. We have exciting things planned for the future, where customers will gain the ability to:

Make Payments: Easily make payments towards your account balance, addressing the high demand for this feature.

Place orders online using your account balance: If you're one of our payment plan customers you will be able to place orders online using your account balance towards the order.

We want to make sure your My Account experience is as smooth as possible,  this phased approach to feature releases allows us to address any potential issues gradually and refine the system based on user feedback.

FAQs:

My email address isn’t working?

The email address you use to register your new account must be the one used on your existing Rix account, as well as your postcode and phone number. If you are unsure about your original email address, please contact your local depot which you can find here.

 

I have one email address, but two accounts with Rix, will I see both my accounts?

No, you will need separate email addresses to access each account.

Will my payment plan balance transfer to my new account upon registration?

As long as you use the email address, postcode and phone number associated with your existing Rix account, your balance will all be visible when logged in.

I've tried to log in but my account details aren't there. 

This is due to one of the credentials used doesn't match what is on your account - please ensure the email address, postcode and phone number you use to register are the same as on your account.

My password doesn't work

If you're trying to use your an old password, the system has now changed and you will need to register again to access My Account.
