Rix Petroleum present a massive £17076 to Macmillan Cancer Support
On Tuesday Rix Petroleum proudly presented Macmillan Cancer Support with the cheque for the money they had raised from the Tour De Rix.
On Tuesday Rix Petroleum proudly presented Macmillan Cancer Support with the cheque for the money they had raised from the Tour De Rix.
The charity bike ride, saw 10 riders from Rix and corporate sponsors cycle 291 miles from Alnwick to Spalding over a 4 day period. The ride stopped off along the route at Hartlepool, Scarborough, Hull and Immingham. In total the event raised more than £17,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of Rix Petroleum, was Managing Director, Rory Clarke.
Mike Straw, Managing Director of Seaway Logistics which helped organise the event also presented the cheque.
Crystal Ness from Macmillan North East accepted the donation on behalf of Macmillan.
