The charity bike ride organised by Rix Petroleum, dubbed the "Tour De Rix" in aid of Macmillan cancer support got off to a flying start from Alnwick in Northumbria on Sunday.

A team of intrepid cyclists is peddling from Alnwick to Spalding to raise thousands of pounds for charity, in an event organised by Rix Petroleum.

We all know the frustration of waiting for an important internet page to load when connectivity is less than optimal. While technology is great when it works, it seems to create far more stress when it doesn’t than not having it in the first place.

The Tour De Rix in aid of MacMillan Cancer support is only a month away. The 262 mile bike ride will start at our Rix Petroleum Alnwick depot and work its way down the East Coast, passing through Hartlepool, Scarborough, Hull, Immingham finishing at Rix Petoleum Spalding.

On the 21st & 22nd May Rix Petroleum will be exhibiting at the Grassland & Muck show 2014, which takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.

When James Bond scriptwriters get together to discuss the next Bond baddie, the starting points (one assumes) are what his (has there ever been a her?) dastardly motives are and how he is going to achieve them.
